Court R. Turner, JD is a creative and unique contributor with over 20 years of experience founding, operating, fundraising for and exiting life science companies.  Currently, Court is a Partner & the Chief Business Officer with the Accelerator Life Sciences Partners and a Partner with LYZZ Capital Advisors.  Mr. Turner also recently co-founded an oncology start-up which just closed a seed raise.  Prior to these positions, Court was a Venture Partner with the venture capital firm, Avalon Ventures, for a decade.  During his time at Avalon, Mr. Turner was the founding CEO and Director of both Synthorx, Inc. (NASDAQ:THOR) and Cellular Approaches, Inc.  Prior to those roles, Court was the founding Chairman and CEO of RQx Pharmaceuticals (exited through a transaction with Genentech).  Starting in 2002, Court was a member of the executive management team at Kalypsys, Inc. and before that, starting in 1997, at Aurora Biosciences (acquired by Vertex in 2001).  Court received his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and a BS in psychology from San Diego State University.
