The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and Biocom, the association representing the California life science industry, have announced a joint partnership to collaboratively produce The Digital MedTech Conference 2020. In combining Biocom’s DeviceFest and Digital Health Conference with AdvaMed’s Digital MedTech Conference, the single event will highlight the evolving digital medtech landscape and explore trends impacting the industry, all while bringing together key leaders from California and beyond.

Managing Director, RiverVest Venture Partners
Nancy Hong, PhD, Managing Director at RiverVest Venture Partners, focuses on biopharmaceutical and medical device opportunities and contributes to the formation, development and business strategies of RiverVest portfolio companies. Nancy joined RiverVest in 2016 and is based in San Diego. Nancy is a board member at ScoutBio.
Prior to joining RiverVest, Nancy was a principal with BioMed Ventures where she originated and managed successful investments in therapeutics, diagnostics and medical devices. Before joining BioMed, she was an investment professional at Forward Ventures and served as an advisor to biotech and pharmaceutical companies entering new areas of research. Nancy started her career as a scientist at Phenomix, a venture-backed discovery biotech based in San Diego.
Trained in the areas of immunology and oncology, Nancy received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco, as a fellow at the Leukemia & Lymphoma
